By downloading, installing, or using HeartSnap (the "app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. HeartSnap is provided by Robert Špan ("we", "us").
Wellness tool, not a medical device
HeartSnap is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Heart-rate measurements are estimates for general wellness and informational purposes only.
Do not rely on HeartSnap for any medical decision. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional with any questions about a medical condition, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something you read or measured in the app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Eligibility and acceptable use
You may use HeartSnap only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to reverse-engineer, tamper with, or attempt to disrupt the app, and not to use it in any way that could harm yourself or others.
Your data
How HeartSnap stores, encrypts, and processes your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. Your heart-rate readings stay in your own iCloud account; we do not have access to them.
No warranty
HeartSnap is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that measurements are accurate or that the app will be error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made or action taken in reliance on the app or its measurements. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
